Mhaidiva Greentini

(For one serving)

Ingredients

  • 30ml of freshly brewed Mhaidiva Green tea
  • 20ml lime syrup
  • 20ml sugar syrup, or according to taste
  • 15ml orange juice
  • 15ml pineapple juice
  • 8 ice cubes
  • 1 starfruit

Supplies

  • Cocktail shaker
  • Martini glass

Directions

  • Brew Mhaidiva Green tea and let it cool down
  • Add the Mhaidiva green tea, lime syrup, sugar syrup, orange juice and pineapple juice in a cocktail shaker
  • Add ice cubes
  • Shake well
  • Pour and strain into a frosted martini glass
  • Garnish the rim of the martini glass with sugar and a slice of starfruit

 

Mhaidiva Sparkling Summer Fruitea

For four servings

Ingredients

  • 500 ml water
  • 2 Mhaidiva forest fruit teabags
  • 1 peach
  • 8 strawberries
  • 1 kiwi
  • 4 tablespoons of sugar
  • 200 ml Muscato d'asti spumante

Supplies

  • Saucepan
  • Knife
  • Cutting board
  • 4 champagne glasses

Instructions

  • Boil the water in a saucepan
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and add the teabags
  • Keep it covered for 5 minutes
  • Remove the teabags
  • Add sugar while stirring
  • Put it in the fridge for at least 2 hours
  • Cut the strawberries into slices
  • Chop the peach and kiwi into cubes
  • Add the strawberries, kiwi and peach pieces to the 4 glasses
  • Fill the glasses 3/4th with the cold tea
  • Fill it up with Spumante

 

Mhaidiva Pear-Mint Green Tea Mocktail

(For five servings)

Ingredients

  • 2 cups cold water
  • 5 green tea bags or comparable amount of loose tea
  • 1 12-ounce can pear juice
  • 1/2 cup fresh mint leaves, slightly crushed
  • 3 tablespoons sugar
  • Ice cubes
  • Splash of vodka (optional)

Instructions

  • Bring water just to boiling in a large saucepan
  • Remove from heat and add tea
  • Steep, covered, for 5 minutes
  • Remove and discard tea
  • Stir in nectar and sugar
  • Add mint
  • Cover and chill for 2 to 24 hours
  • Strain tea mixture and serve over ice
  • Add a splash of vodka (optional)

 

Mhaidiva Mojito Iced Tea

(For one serving)

Ingredients

  • Lime
  • Mint
  • Sugar water
  • Crushed ice
  • Strawberry iced tea
  • Sprite

Ingredients for iced tea and sugar syrup

  • 4 tea bags of Mhaidiva strawberry tea
  • 1kg refined sugar
  • 2l water

Supplies

  • Longdrinkglas
  • Tall teaspoon
  • Muddler

Instructions

  • Squeeze the parts of half a lime in the glass
  • Add the lime parts and 10 mint leaves
  • Add 10ml of sugar syrup
  • Muddle the ingredients for 10 seconds
  • Fill the glass for 2/3 with crushed ice
  • Add 50ml of iced tea to the glass and stir
  • Fill the glass with crushed ice and top with 5ml sprite
  • Garnish with a few mint leaves and a straw

Make your own sugar water

  • Boil 1 litre of water and ad 1 kg of sugar stir carefully
  • Put it in the fridge and let it cool down. Pure it in the a bottle and the syrup is ready to use

Make your own iced tea

  • Boil 1 litre of water and make tea with 4 teabags.
  • Let it cool down and your iced tea is ready to use

 

Mhaidiva Iced Tea Cocktail

(For three servings)

Ingredients

  • 1/2 watermelon
  • 1 tea bag of Mhaidiva rooibos tea
  • 100 ml of sparkling mineral water
  • Lime
  • Sugar
  • Ice cubes

Supplies

  • Cocktail/champagne glass
  • Blender
  • Jug

Instructions

  • Brew 200ml of rooibos tea and let it cool down
  • Clean the watermelon; remove the rind and seeds
  • Chop the watermelon into pieces and put them in the blender
  • Add the cold rooibos tea in the jug and add the watermelon pulp, sparkling mineral water and sugar
  • Stir carefully
  • Add ice cubes and stir again

Tip

Replace the sparkling mineral water with 100ml of Prosecco
